Before Blake & Dane, Jamie Morgan spent two decades as a speech-language pathologist. The work taught her to listen closely, to hear not only what people said but what they meant.

She brings that same attention to design. When a client describes the home they want, Jamie listens for what they actually need; when a space resists a direction, she pays attention to why. Years of careful listening now shape how she reads a room.

She founded Blake & Dane in December 2019 on a simple premise: the best interior design begins before the first material decision, in a conversation, a site visit, a moment of real listening.

Since then, the studio has completed close to a hundred projects across Long Island's Gold Coast, the Hamptons, and New York City, from full renovations to ground-up construction. Because many clients value their privacy, the work shown here is a selected sampling rather than the full record. Every engagement also draws on references and ideas beyond what is published.
